Stefan Behrisch, born in Cologne in 1971, first studied mathematics, then guitar, piano, composition and arrangement at the Amsterdam Conservatory and the Cologne University of Music. He is active worldwide as a composer, arranger, conductor and music producer.

Great stylistic openness, versatility and professionalism characterize his work and his approach to music.

His work includes orchestra productions with Jacob Collier and Snarky Puppy, Sarah Connor and Max Mutzke, the new version of the "Ring des Nibelungen" for the Cologne Opera, film scores with Howard Shore and 
Cliff Martinez, jazz productions with Vince Mendoza and Michael Gibbs, world music with Bokanté and much more.

Numerous collaborations with the LA Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Orchester de Paris, Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, HR Symphony Orchestra, Staatskapelle Dresden, WDR Big Band, WDR Symphony 
Orchestra, Metropole Orkest, BBC Symphony Orchestra and many others.

Many of the productions he has worked on have been nominated for Grammies and other awards and have achieved #1 chart success. Stefan Behrisch lives in Berlin.
