Trombone Wind Instruments

The program includes regular lessons in the principal instrument, accompaniment, participation in the university symphony orchestra, chamber music, and playing in various (brass) wind ensembles. Individual specializations in early and contemporary music are expressly possible and contribute to a broad, personal profile. The program is further enhanced by regular invitations from renowned visiting professors to the Dresden University of Music.

Ensemble concerts, solo performances and concerts as part of excursions offer diverse performance opportunities and combine artistic excellence with extensive practical experience.

Depending on personal goals, students can choose between an artistic and an artistic-pedagogical degree program. In the artistic programs, there is also the opportunity to learn other instruments within the trombone family, thus enriching the individual training profile in a particularly valuable way.
