Teaching, Researching and Training abroad Programmes and funding opportunities for Dresden College of Music staff
Erasmus+ funds guest lectureships and master classes at partner universities abroad. Here you will find a brief overview of the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme.
Please contact the International Office if you have any questions about the programme and how to plan your stay.
Who can be funded?
- Professors
Artistic and academic staff
What can be funded?
The minimum duration of the guest teaching/master class is two days and requires at least 8 hours of teaching time.
The guest lectureship / master class must be completed at an Erasmus partner institution. Ideally, you should already be in contact with the partner institution or a teacher with whom you can organise a mutual exchange. If necessary, contracts can also be concluded with new partner institutions.
How does the funding work?
- As part of Erasmus+, you receive financial support for your stay and travel costs. These are based on the cost of living in the destination country or the distance travelled. Fee payments are not provided.
- The grant is paid out in a lump sum before the start of the trip. A statement of account is not required.
How can I apply for funding?
- Applications are possible on an ongoing basis, but must be submitted at least 2 months before the start of the trip (subject to available funding)
- Send us an invitation from the partner university or contact us to help you find a suitable host institution
