Dresden Master Classes Music
Since 2013, young musicians from all over the world have been meeting regularly in Dresden to learn from first-class artists in master classes. Primarily students of the HfM Dresden, but also students of the Landesgymnasium für Musik Dresden, as well as external students are given the opportunity to develop their repertoire in individual lessons, to present themselves on stage and to interact with other artists.
The Dresden Master Classes in Music are characterized by their interdisciplinary approach, cross-disciplinary cooperation and cooperation with other cultural institutions in Dresden.
With the Dresden Master Classes in Music and the subsequent public concerts, the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music Dresden succeeds in setting accents in musical training and further education and adding an attractive facet to the cultural calendar of the Saxon capital.
