Our educational goal is to combine tradition and modernity in the best possible way in order to prepare students for the realities of the current job market. This is done under the guidance of leading teachers, recognized orchestral musicians and renowned soloists who bring their extensive experience to the teaching.

Training

Broadly Diversified, Practically Oriented, Individually

The focus of the study programme is the development of an artistic personality with all its creative potential, who confidently meets the requirements of the current music business. The basis for this is the comprehensive technical and musical training and promotion of creativity and independence.

Focus Areas

In addition to regular main subject studies and correpetition, the work in the college symphony orchestra as well as chamber music, early and new music belong to the focal points of the studies. This guarantees a broadly diversified and individual training.

Gain Concert Experience

Ensemble projects with other musicians of the college and work in the college and workshop orchestras or the big band provide important practical experience. The corresponding stage practice guarantees regular podium concerts.

Ensembles

Flexible Training

Depending on personal objectives, students can choose between artistic and instrumental pedagogical studies. In the artistic courses of study, it is possible to take the contra bassoon as a secondary instrument.
