Alberto, Gio and Lars …

share a deep love for the Blues , Gospel and Spiritual music. Those form the core ingredients of the sound of the Trio, and are melted with Jazz Elements, Funk and Soul and an occasional leap over the Ocean to British Rock, The Fab Four all the way to Hard Rock and Psychedelic. So, naturally Soundsville’s repertoire besides Originals (mainly written by Marsico) contains Gospel- and Blues Standards as well as re-makes of Hits by Lennon/ Mc Cartney and Steely Dan , Billy Preston or Donnie Hathaway. There’s plenty of love for Jazz and improvisational finesse to dig into - but the Trio’s sound is always deeply rooted in Alberto’s and Gio’s rock-solid Grooves and they make sure to take it back to greasy soulful Blues whenever they feel they want to.

The band has two albums available:

SOUNDSVILLE and BLUES FOR ALICE IN WONDERLAND

Soundsville is happy to come to a town near You soon! Check out sounds and videos here and make sure to catch them live.
