Die musikalische Performance mit Werken junger ukrainischer Komponisten ist das Abschlussprojekt der jungen ukrainischen Regisseurin und Dramaturgin Maryna Ryzhova, Stipendiatin des Artist-in-Residence Programms von Sächsischer Akademie der Künste und Richard-Wagner-Stätten Graupa in Zusammenarbeit mit der Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden.

»The performance 'this is what my home sounds like' is a collaboration of young ukrainian composers and musicians who are currently abroad. The project aims to demonstrate the potential of ukrainian young artists and to show viewers that ukraine is not just the sounds of war and statistics in the news. Ukrainians are fighting for their freedom, identity and culture. This project is an opportunity to introduce artists and art connoisseurs to the music and culture of ukrainian youth, who are creating their own history right now.« Maryna Ryzhova
