Your Research Project at the University of Music Dresden

The University of Music Dresden enables external researchers at all career stages to launch ambitious and innovative music-related research projects through seed funding. Supported activities include, for example, coaching for securing third-party funding, workshops, and strategic conferences.

To apply, please contact us with a project proposal. The proposal should cover the following points: The current state of research, the research question, methodology, expected outcomes, as well as the financial scope and the specific purpose of the funding.

Decisions regarding funding are generally made within three months of the proposal's submission.
