DFNConf

DFNconf is the video conferencing service provided by the German National Research and Education Network (DFN) for research and teaching. The service enables you to conduct video, audio, and web conferences with remote participants using various devices (e.g., browsers, apps, telephones, or dedicated video conferencing hardware). By creating meeting rooms, you can easily hold meetings or lectures in a digital or hybrid format. To create a meeting room, simply log in using your university account. The invitation email provides participants with multiple access options, meaning they do not need a university account of their own.

Therefore, it is necessary not only to observe prohibitions under criminal law but also to ensure that data is processed only when there is a legal basis under data protection law and no copyright is infringed.
